Since being outside allows for more room to social distance, outdoor adventures are much safer than indoor ones when it comes to the possible spread of the virus. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take measures to stay healthy, however. Make sure to do the following:

  • Don’t gather in large groups.

Shiloh National Military Park

The Battle of Shiloh was one of the most epic and influential confrontations of the American Civil War. Today, you can visit the Shiloh National Military Park to explore the battlefield, enjoy a picnic, and pay respects to the fallen buried in the park’s cemetery.

Trailhead Park

Trailhead Park is a national landmark with amazing views of the Historic Crossroads and Corinth Depot. It’s also the beginning of the Corinth Hiking and Biking Trail, which winds through historic locations, Civil War sites, and other points of interest in the heart of downtown Corinth.

Edward S. Bishop Memorial Park

Covering seven scenic acres, Edward S. Bishop Memorial Park offers a multitude of opportunities to play. Hike or jog the 1/3-mile trail, shoot some hoops on the basketball court, play baseball or softball, and let the kids run free on the playground.

Crossroads Regional Park

Crossroads Regional Park is a much-loved city park with a full mile of paved trails for walking and jogging. It also features a mega playground, covered picnic pavilions, and a wide variety of sports fields for everything from tennis to soccer and golf.

Golfing Opportunities

Those who love to get out and golf will enjoy the nine-hole, par-35 Whispering Pines; 18-hole, par-72 Shiloh Ridge Golf Course and Athletic Club; or pay-as-you-play putting at Hillandale Golf Course.
