Emily is a graduate of the University of Alabama and Franklin University, where she studied Marketing Communication. A lifelong Corinthian, Emily’s love for her hometown and her passion for connecting with potential visitors make her uniquely qualified to interact (both online or in person) with anyone interested in what Corinth has to offer. Emily is currently working toward her TMP certification with the Southeast Tourism Society.

Prior to joining the Corinth CVB, Christy worked as an Accounting Manager for a local manufacturer and owned a retail gift shop in the heart of historic downtown. Her experience with the gift shop put her directly in front of the visitors looking for the jewels in Corinth and gave her a chance to tout all that Corinth has to offer.

The combination of her business skills and her love of Corinth pushes Christy to be proactive in her approach to promote tourism and economic development of the area while looking at “what’s down the road” for Corinth and Alcorn County.

Christy holds a TMP certification with the Southeastern Tourism Society and serves as a board member for the MS Hills Heritage Area.
