Construction of Highway Gateway Signs
Invitation to Bid on Gateway Signage Project
The Corinth Area Convention & Visitor Bureau invites qualified contractors to submit written quotes for the construction and installation of four (4) highway gateway signs at designated entrances to our municipality. These signs are located at all four entrances to the city limits on Hwy 72, East and West and Hwy 45, North and South. We are seeking experienced and reputable vendors to deliver durable, attractive, and compliant signage that will welcome residents and visitors, and reflect the character of our community.
Project Overview
The objective of this project is to construct four brick gateway signs along the two major highway entry points into Corinth. These signs should reflect quality craftsmanship and durability, as they are intended to endure exposure to varying weather conditions and heavy traffic, while remaining visually welcoming and architecturally consistent with our community’s character. The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the complete construction and installation of the signs.
Scope of Work
• Site preparation, including any necessary demolition of the existing sign, excavation, grading, and foundation work.
• Fabrication and installation of gateway brick signs according to approved designs and specifications.
• Supply of all materials, including bricks, mortar, concrete, reinforcement steel, signage letters/logos, landscaping, and any decorative elements specified in the design documents.
• Coordination with local utility providers for safe and lawful execution of all digging and installation activities.
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes pertaining to signage, construction, and site safety.
Project Specifications
Full specifications, including sign dimensions, foundation requirements, brick color and texture, lettering style, and logo details, are provided in the attached documentation. These are for conceptual purposes only. Any deviations from these specifications must be requested and approved in writing prior to commencement of work.
Timeline
The anticipated timeline for this project is as follows:
• Release of Request for Quotes (RFQ): 8/11/25
• Deadline for Questions: 8/29/25
• Submission Deadline for Quotes: 9/12/25, by 5pm
• Selection and Award Announcement: 9/16/25
• Construction to begin: October 1, 2025
All dates are subject to change; any amendments will be communicated in writing.
Submission Requirements
Interested contractors must submit a sealed quote addressing all elements of this RFQ.
Submissions should include the following:
• Company profile with relevant experience, particularly in constructing brick signage or similar masonry projects.
• Evidence of required licenses, bonding, and insurance.
• Detailed project schedule, including estimated start and completion dates.
• Cost breakdown for all major work components, materials, and labor.
• Warranty information for materials and workmanship.
• List of at least three recent references for comparable projects.
Quote Evaluation Criteria
Submitted quotes will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Demonstrated relevant experience and technical expertise.
• Compliance with project specifications and submission requirements.
• Proposed project timeline and ability to meet deadlines.
• Competitiveness of quoted price and value oPered.
• Quality and durability of proposed materials.
• References and past performance on similar projects.
• Warranty and post-construction support.

All inquiries regarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing to Christy Burns, Executive Director, cburns@corinth.net, no later than 8/29/25. Questions and responses will be posted at https://www.corinth.net/requests-for-proposals for everyone to access.

Terms and Conditions
• Corinth Area Convention & Visitor Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to accept the quote deemed most advantageous to the municipality.
• All work shall be undertaken in accordance with the applicable laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations.
• The selected contractor will be required to enter into a formal agreement with the municipality outlining the full scope and terms of the project.
• Any cost incurred by the bidder in preparing or submitting a quote is the sole responsibility of the bidder.

• Contractors are responsible for verifying all measurements and site conditions prior to submitting a quote.
• Any modifications to the project scope must be approved by the municipality in writing.
• Project will be considered complete only upon final inspection and acceptance by Corinth Area Convention & Visitor Bureau.
